Earthquake Shaking In Residential Areas Where The Soil Is Liquefiable Is Always Accompanied By Numerous Subsided And Tilted Houses. If The Damage Is Not Serious, The House Can Be Jacked Up But When It Is Severe The Building Should Be Demolished. This Results In A Big Financial Loss To The People Whose Buildings Are Damaged. In This Paper Some Possible Mitigation Measures Against This Problem Are Proposed. Their Efficiency Are Evaluated By Conducting Shaking Table Tests. The Experiments Are Modeled Mathematically To Develop And Calibrate A Numerical Method To Predict The Behavior Of Each Mitigation Against The Problem.
